Okay, I may have made a hollow promise to myself. After my last post, I had inadvertently claimed that I was done sanding. Well, this isn't exactly true. After researching the best methods to finish a guitar body, I found that a grit sandpaper treatment was only the beginning of the progression.
Apparently, grit sandpaper is just used to level the surface. You must THEN use a progression of , , and grit sandpaper to smooth out the scratches and swirls on the body. If you don't do this, then it would be nearly impossibly to buff the finish smooth.
